Our Approach
At the St. Clare Foundation, we believe every child and adolescent deserves the opportunity to thrive. Continuing in the footsteps of the Felician Sisters, we work alongside community partners to improve access to resources and address unmet behavioral health needs among youth and adolescents in Marion, Jefferson, and surrounding counties. We advance this mission through three interconnected roles: funder, ambassador, and convener.
- Funder - By providing funding to local direct service providers, we invest in community-driven solutions that strengthen youth behavioral health.
- Ambassador - We raise awareness of regional needs, elevate community efforts, and champion the importance of youth mental health.
- Convener - We bring partners together to foster collaboration, share knowledge, and identify opportunities to address gaps in care.
By investing in local solutions, amplifying community efforts, and building connections across sectors, we strive to create a community where every child and family can access the resources and support they need to thrive.

Service Area
The St. Clare Foundation currently serves a 9-county service region in Southern Illinois: Marion County, Jefferson County, Washington County, Clinton County, Fayette County, Franklin County, Perry County, Wayne County, and Clay County.
