Our Work

Ambassador

Elevating Awareness & Championing Youth Behavioral Health

The St. Clare Foundation serves as an ambassador for youth and adolescent behavioral health by elevating awareness of community needs, amplifying the work of local organizations, and championing efforts to improve access to care. We believe meaningful change begins with understanding the challenges facing our communities and recognizing the people and organizations working to address them.

Through community engagement, strategic communication, and relationship-building, we work to bring greater visibility to behavioral health needs across Marion, Jefferson, and surrounding counties. We strive to elevate local voices, share knowledge and resources, and encourage greater community investment in the well-being of children, adolescents, and families.

By serving as an ambassador, we help keep youth behavioral health at the forefront of community conversations and support a shared commitment to building a region where every child and family can access the resources they need to thrive.

Our behavioral health advocacy priorities include:

  • Promoting the early identification of behavioral health needs including prevention and early intervention efforts.
  • Increasing the behavioral health workforce (physicians, allied health professionals and other behavioral health providers) capacity.
  • Improving local access to needed behavioral health resources.

Amplifying Community Efforts

We recognize that improving youth behavioral health takes more than awareness alone. It requires communities that understand local needs, recognize opportunities for action, and support the organizations working to make a difference. The St. Clare Foundation uses its platform and relationships to highlight community-driven solutions, elevate important conversations, and encourage collective action toward a healthier future for our region.
